  • How do I update the status of a work order and add completion records?

    Users with the appropriate permissions can update a work order as maintenance work progresses.

    To update a work order:

    1. Open the relevant work order.
    2. Review the reported issue, location, priority, and assigned work.
    3. Select the appropriate status, such as In Progress, Pending, or Completed.
    4. Add notes describing the work performed.
    5. Record any parts, materials, or equipment used, where applicable.
    6. Upload photographs showing the completed work or current condition.
    7. Enter any follow-up action required.
    8. Save or submit the update.

    Before marking a work order as completed, confirm that:

    • The reported issue has been resolved.
    • The affected equipment or facility has been tested where necessary.
    • Completion notes have been entered.
    • Supporting photographs have been uploaded if required.
    • No further follow-up work is outstanding.

    Some work orders may require supervisor review or approval before they are officially closed.
